Dr. Z is an an incredibly caring and compassionate healthcare professional. I began seeing him last April for fertility enhancement following a miscarriage. Dr. Zurawin is one of those rare doctors who really LISTENS to his patients. He spends the time to evaluate your individual needs, listening to your concerns, and come up with a plan of action. My husband and I just found out we are expecting our first baby!
We had tried so many traditional avenue of so called “specialists” but had no real success to get pregnant. After a few months of acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and food changes, Dr. Zurawin was able to help me regulate my cycle. His methods helped balance my body back to normal and we were able to conceive.
Dr. Z’s personal approach and follow up makes him the exception in medicine today. I wish more doctors cared for their patients the way Dr. Z did. He is a gem! I have recommended him on multiple occasions.

Initial Consultation
At your initial consultation you’ll meet with your clinician to discuss your fertility issues including current symptoms, medical history, any medications you’re taking, and most importantly YOUR GOALS. We want to be certain that our program is going to meet your needs and that there is a HIGH probability of success for you – BEFORE we move forward to the next step.
Detailed Assessment & Treatment Plan
Once your initial consultation is complete, and we agree to move forward, your next step is the Intake appointment. At this appointment, your clinician will do a detailed assessment of your symptom pattern, medical history, and other factors to determine the root cause of your issue and devise a specific plan of attack.
Your first acupuncture session will be performed at this time, and a you will be given a treatment plan with exact, easy-to-follow instructions. Your treatment plan will include dietary and lifestyle adjustments as well as key supplements and herbal medicines to address the root cause of your fertility issues and address your most pressing symptoms.
Active Treatment & Symptom Resolution
You’ll return for weekly visits to ensure close support as you begin to feel the positive shifts of the therapy. We want to make sure your treatment plan is yielding the expected results:
- Less or no pain
- Normalized menstrual flow
- Level, stable mood
- Balanced hormones
- No abnormal bleeding between periods
You’ll also receive acupuncture at each visit to ensure that your progress is cumulative and that your monthly cycle is well balanced to achieve the best conceivable cycle..
Transitional Care As Things Stabilize
Once we see stable improvements, we will begin to reduce the frequency of visits. This usually occurs within the first 2 months. Initially you’ll come in weekly, then as your condition improves the frequency becomes less. We re-evaluate your case with you periodically and fine tune as needed until we achieve the desired results.
We’ll be here in case you ever want to come in for a tune-up or to address other health concerns.
